Better is POSSIBLE
We can do BETTER for Toronto and for Ward 21
We need a leader for our Scarborough Centre and for our city. Here's what I stand for and why I believe that better is possible!
Financial Accountability
With a $850 million budget shortfall, we need strong leadership that will help to protect the services we need, cut the waste in government we don't need, and deliver value for our taxpayer dollars.
Keep Taxes Down and City Services More Affordable
Simply raising property taxes is NOT AFFORDABLE. With the rising cost of everything due to inflation, we need to make sure that keep city services affordable and have a real plan for affordable housing and social programs that deliver on our quality of life.
Fix What's Broken
City permits take too long and the process is too bureaucratic. Street racing and traffic are serious nuisances and a safety concern. We need strong leadership to fix the things that are broken to make things easier to access, more logical and cost-effective, and deliver on quality services we need to keep our city going strong.
Open the Eglinton Crosstown Line
We need to get public transit moving. The Eglinton Crosstown line that we've all been patiently waiting (and paying) for needs to open. We need to push Metrolinx for an opening date (and it needs to be sooner rather than later!).
Be a Strong, Proud Voice for Scarborough Centre
Restore Integrity and Confidence in our Councillor
We need a councillor that will act as a leader with strong integrity. It's time to take back our council seat and make Ward 21 even BETTER than we all know it is! BETTER is POSSIBLE! Let's make that happen together!
As a lifelong resident of our Scarborough Centre community, he has watched it grow and flourish and cares about its future. Paul will be a strong voice for Scarborough and the neighbourhoods we call home.
